Bio

Kristin Beeler is Associate Professor of Art at Long Beach City College in the greater Los Angeles area since 2002. She relocated to California after ten years of teaching and studio work in Tucson having received her MFA in Jewelry and Metalwork at the University of Arizona.

Most recently she has been Resident Artist at both Cleveland Institute of Art and Kent State University in Spring/Summer 2009. Her work has been published in Natural Materials Jewellery Handbook, A&C Black Publishers, 500 Lockets and Pendants, Lark Books, 2006 Exhibition in Print, Metalsmith magazine, 500 Necklaces, Lark Books, 2004 Exhibition in Print, Metalsmith magazine, and Art Jewelry Today, Schiffer Publications.
