Trudee Hill - Artist Statement/Resume

Artist Statement

The ability to design and fabricate functional objects is satisfying in a way that I had not considered was possible before my introduction to metalsmithing in 2001. My work is always personal, a visual communication of a private vocabulary. Jewelry is intimate. The work must be provocative as well as satisfying to the touch. These objects provide an account of my imaginings as well as my realities, a silent narration of life.
