Jessica Baskett

Jessica began making jewelry full time in the fall of 2017 under the name Moonlight Mile, marking a new chapter after many years as a graphic designer. The shift came at a meaningful moment in her life—after overcoming cancer and celebrating a milestone birthday, she felt inspired to explore a more hands-on, creative path. What began as curiosity soon became a source of fulfillment and connection, leading her to the work she creates today. Jessica earned her BA in Applied Design with an emphasis in Jewelry and Metalwork from San Diego State University, adding to a degree in Studio Arts.

She works mostly with sterling silver, using it to highlight elements of nature and transparency, allowing light to become part of each piece. She’s drawn to the organic beauty of patina and textured surfaces, embracing the natural character and handcrafted feel that make each piece one of a kind.
