GREAT EXPECTATIONS
We are pleased to present our holiday exhibition which includes jewelry from fourteen artists, ten of whom are new to Taboo Studio. Along with pieces made with traditional materials such as sterling silver, gemstones, and high karat golds, we have jewelry of vintage gelatin sequins by Giovanna Torrico.
The husband and wife duo Oropopo work in leather, creating dramatic and original designs with a southwest sensibility.
Taboo owner Joanna Rhoades’ unique pendants derive their inspiration from her collection of beautiful, decorative, Japanese combs - Each geisha comb serves as a focal point to the piece, which is then embellished with gems and elements of precious metals.
Opening Friday, NOVEMBER 17, 6 - 8pm
The show runs through December 31, 2017
