This bold steel cuff features a perforated steel windowpane insert adorned with an unusual and dramatic rutilated quartz, which adds a distinctive touch to the design. The cuff has been fused with shibuichi a traditional Japanese alloy of copper and silver-using a novel technique called "painting with owdered metals." This technique involves alloying powdered copper and silver components as they are fused to the steel, creating a unique and textured appearance for the shibuichi. The cuff has been forged into an anticastic form, meaning it has a double curvature: curving inward in one direction and outward in another, which enhances its sculptural quality.
